• Rims:  Venn 51mm filament wound rims.  28mm wide, optimised for 25-26mm tyres.  Venn developed their latest rims using AI to find the best rims profile that maximises aerodynamic efficiency combined with stable handling characteristics. A rim weight of 480g ensures the wheels get up to speed quickly.  Internal width of 21mm make this a good choice for a tubeless set up with lower tyre pressures. 20 front and 24 rear spoke count.  Max rider weight of 90kg with Sapim CX Ray spokes

• Hubs:  DT Swiss 350.  Sharing the same design as the legendary 240s, but trading some extra weight for cost. These hubs feature the DT Swiss Star Ratchet drive mechanism. This system offers fast engagement and torque transfer in a hub which is easy to perform a service on without any specialist tools.  The excellent Bitex RAF/RAR 12 is an other great option if you're looking to get the price sub £1000.  Upgrade to DT Swiss 240s to reduce total hub weight by 63g

• Spokes:  Sapim CX Ray Black Aero spokes, optional upgrade to Sapim CX Sprint for heavier riders or those wanting a stiffer build
